Basil essential oil is steam distilled from the fresh leaves and flowering tops of the basil plant and has a warm and spicy, yet herbaceous scent with a characteristic aniseed undertone.
As with all our essential oils, our basil essential oil is 100% natural and contains no synthetic fragrance
Basil essential oil is a fantastic natural ingredient but needs to be used with a little caution. Essential oils can sensitise skin and shouldn't be applied to the skin directly or consumed. Please consult a doctor before use if pregnant and always keep out of reach of children.
