This hemp seed oil is an unrefined, cold pressed carrier oil, which means that it hasn't been heated to above 35C in the extraction process. Hempseed oil contains vital essential fatty acids like alpha-linolenic acid and linoleic acid, which help soothe the skin when applied topically.
Virgin, cold pressed hemp seed oil is dark green to brown in colour with an earthy aroma. Our hemp seed products are extracted from the seed of the plant, so the oil does not contain any CBD or cannabinoids.
What is Hemp Seed Oil Used For?
Cold pressed hempseed oil is great in hair and skincare recipes, as it has great moisturising and soothing properties. It has a comedogenic rating of 0 which means it will not clog pores. It is suitable for all skin types, including oily skin, acne prone skin, sensitive skin and dry skin.

- Measure the shea butter and melt in a bowl over hot water or a microwave
- Weigh out the jojoba oil and organic almond oil.
- Mix the oils into the melted shea butter
- Once fully combined, leave to cool in the fridge.
- Once the mixture looks like it is starting to set, whisk until it creates a creamy whipped consistency.
