What is Organic Hemp Seed Oil?

Organic hemp oil is the oil pressed from the seeds of the hemp plant. This cold pressed hemp seed oil is produced from organic hemp plants which have been grown without the use of chemical pesticides. Our organic hemp oil is produced by cold pressing only, which preserves the natural state of the oil.

Our organic hemp seed oil is certified organic by the Soil Association. We are inspected annually to make sure we comply with their strict regulations.

What is Organic Hemp Seed Oil Used For?

Organic cold pressed hemp seed oil is brown in colour and absorbs well into the skin. Hemp seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids like alpha linolenic acid which helps protect the skin and improve hydration.

Cold pressed hemp seed oil has a very low comedogenic rating and is often used in face treatments and in skin treatments for eczema, psoriasis and itchy skin.

Organic hemp oil is suitable for all skin types including oily skin and acne prone skin.

Ingredients

• Organic shea butter 100g
• Hemp seed oil 50ml
• Jojoba oil 50ml

Method

1. Measure the shea butter and melt in a bowl over hot water or a microwave
2. Weigh out the jojoba oil and hemp seed oil.
3. Mix the oils into the melted shea butter
4. Once fully combined, leave to cool in the fridge.
5. Once the mixture looks like it is starting to set, whisk until it creates a creamy whipped consistency.
6. Now your skin treatment is ready to use!
