Our grapeseed oil is a by product of the wine industry, the oil is pressed from the seeds of grapes that are used for wine making. Our organic cold pressed grapeseed oil is yellow in colour and has a neutral scent, it has been deodorised and decolourised.
Organic grapeseed oil is produced from organic grapes which have been grown without the use of chemical pesticides or fertilisers.
Our organic grape seed oil is certified organic by the Soil Association. We are inspected annually to make sure we comply with their strict regulations.
What is organic grapeseed oil used for?
Due to its high linoleic acid value, grapeseed oil is highly moisturising properties and is great for all skin types.
Grapeseed oil has a comedogenic rating of 1, meaning it is unlikely to clog pores. It can be used by acne prone skin, oily skin and combination skin types.
Make your own skin treatment with grapeseed oil
Ingredients
- Organic shea butter 100g
- Organic grapeseed oil 50ml
- Jojoba oil 50ml
Method
- Melt the shea butter in a microwave or in a bowl over hot water.
- Mix the jojoba oil and organic grapeseed oil into the melted shea.
- Once the mixture is fully combined, place in the fridge to cool.
- When the mixture looks like it is starting to set, use a whisk to mix it.
- It should form a light creamy consistency, similar to whipped cream.
- Now your skin treatment is ready to use!
