Sea buckthorn oil cold pressed from sea buckthorn berries. The sea buckthorn plant is a small shrub that is native to the Himalayas.
The sea buckthorn fruit are small orange berries and these are pressed at low temperatures to produce our cold pressed virgin sea buckthorn pulp oil.
Sea buckthorn oil is rich in fatty acids like linoleic and oleic acid. This helps improve hydration and overall skin health.
What is sea buckthorn oil used for?
Sea buckthorn oil is often used to make natural products in cosmetics like moisturisers, creams, face oils, soap, conditioner and hair masks.

Method

Melt the shea butter and coconut oil in a microwave, or in a bowl over boiling water

Mix the sea buckthorn oil to the melted butters.

Once fully combined, leave the mixture in the fridge to cool.

Once the mixture is looking like it is starting to set, whisk until it reaches a light, creamy consistency

Put the mixture into a container and now it is ready for use!
