Winter is approaching fast so it’s time to start making winter themed soaps! This recipe makes beautiful snowflake shaped soap bars that are perfect for this time of year.
Not only does it look amazing, but this soap also helps combat dry skin that is caused by the harsh cold temperatures!
It is the perfect recipe for beginners as it only uses soap and essential oils!
Melt and Pour Soap Recipe
In this recipe, we are using shea butter soap base which makes a highly moisturising and nourishing soap bar. It is a great soap base for sensitive skin as it makes a very gentle soap bar.
We have added pine essential oil and peppermint essential oil to recreate the crisp scent of winter. If you want to try a different scent, check out our winter blends blog for some ideas! You can also shop all of our essential oils here.
To complete the beautiful snowflake look, we are using our snowflake silicone soap mould. Just like real snowflakes, each soap cell has a unique snowflake pattern!
We have chosen to keep this soap a white colour, but we also love making light blue snowflakes with our ice blue mica powder. If you want to add some colour, just add 10g of your favourite mica powder!
