What is carrot oil?
Our carrot oil is cold pressed from the seeds of the carrot plant. Carrot oil is dark red to brown in colour with an earthy, woody scent reminiscent of carrots.
Carrot seed oil is a carrier oil and is often confused with carrot seed essential oil as they are both extracted from the seed of the plant. However, carrot oil is cold pressed and can be used directly on the skin, whereas the carrot seed essential oil is steam distilled and needs to be diluted in a carrier oil.
