What is Organic Neem Oil?

Our organic neem oil is cold pressed from the seeds of organic Neem Trees. Neem oil is a yellow-brown carrier oil and has a distinctive bitter aroma.

Neem oil is commonly used as an insect repellent for plant and house plant. We recommend mixing 5ml of neem oil, mixed with 1L of water and a couple of drops of liquid soap creates a good natural pesticide. You would also need to ensure that neem oil works as a repellent for the type of insects you have.

Our organic oils are certified organic by the Soil Association. We are inspected annually to make sure we comply with their strict regulations.

Organic Neem Oil for Skin

Organic neem oil is rich in essential fatty acids and is great for improving skin conditions and overall skin health.

Neem oil is widely used in skin care products like lotions, creams and soap. It is suitable for all skin types including oily, cracked, damaged, irritation, dry skin and acne prone skin.

Make your own skin treatment with neem oil

Ingredients

• Organic shea butter 100g
• Organic neem oil 50ml
• Jojoba oil 50ml

Method

1. Melt the shea butter in a microwave or in a bowl over hot water.
2. Weigh out the organic neem oil and jojoba oil.
3. Mix the neem oil mixture and shea together.
4. Once the mixture is fully combined, place in the fridge to cool.
5. When the mixture looks like it is starting to set, use a whisk to mix it.
6. It should form a light creamy consistency, similar to whipped cream.
7. Now your skin treatment is ready to use!

Neem Oil for Hair

Certified organic neem oil is also used in hair treatments for dry or damaged hair. It can be used in hair care like conditioners, hair masks and your favourite shampoo recipe!

Make your own hair treatment with neem oil

Ingredients

• Castor oil 100ml
• Macadamia oil 100ml
• Organic neem oil 100ml
• Vitamin E oil 5ml

Method

1. Measure out the castor oil, macadamia oil, organic neem oil and vitamin E oil.
2. Mix all of the oils together in a bowl.
3. Pour the neem oil mixture into you chosen bottle and apply!
