Autumn Essential Oil Blends for Diffusers

Autumn Essential Oil Blends for Diffusers

October 09, 2022

The nights are drawing in, the weather is cool and cosy season is here! We find at this time of year we start to use our essential oil diffuser again, as in the summer the windows are open so much it often feels pointless to put it on and have all those beautiful aromas disappear straight out of the window.

We might be sun lovers here at The Soapery, but we must admit, autumn is rather magical. The crisp mornings, the scent of woodsmoke weaving through the air and the crunch of colourful leaves underfoot. It all makes us want to snuggle up under a blanket with a good book, a mug of cocoa, candles and diffuser on.

We've come up with some gorgeous autumn essential oil blends for diffusers that will see you through the season. From relaxing blends to something more energising, they are simple to make and perfect for this time of year. Just add the drops of essential oils directly to your diffuser.

Here are our five autumn essential oil blends...

Freshen Up Blend

This is a fantastic blend to use when you're cleaning the house as the zingy citrus and pine scents not only bring freshness to your home, but they can also help cleanse and purify the air with their antibacterial properties.

Stress Relief Blend

Had a rough day? Give this blend a try. Frankincense to help reduce anxiety, fir which can be calming, juniper for grounding and bergamot for inner peace. Be careful using this one around Halloween though - Frankincense is said to strengthen your intuition and spiritual connection!

Bedtime Blend

A lovely blend to use in the evening, the lavender can help relax you, the vetiver is said to relieve stress and the cedarwood is meant to calm your mind and ground you.

Snuffle Blend

A great one if you are feeling a little under the weather as the pine and lemon can help to clear your head and lift your energy, rosemary is often used to ease congestion and is said to have antiseptic properties and the humidity from the diffuser can also help to ease dry throats.

Energy Blend

This one is Andy's favourite! The perfect oil to diffuse in the office or if you're working from home. The bright lemon aroma is meant to be energising and help promote a positive mood, the fir is refreshing and the spearmint can bring focus.

We hope you enjoy the essential oil blends for diffusers. Do you have a go-to essential oil blend for your diffuser? Let us know on our Facebook or Instagram so we can give them a try!
